  • 3.0 GPA in 13 core units:
    • English - 4
    • Math - 3
    • Social Science - 3
    • Natural Science - 3

OR

  • 1120 SAT* (EBRW and math)
    • *1040 SAT for exams taken prior to March 2016

OR

  • 22 ACT (composite score)

OR

  • Nevada Advanced High School Diploma

OR

  • Nevada College and Career Ready High School Diploma

We accept both the or our for incoming first-year students only. There is no preference given to either the 51³Ô¹ÏÍøÍòÄÜ¿Æ´ó Application or the Common Application – we recommend you choose the most convenient application for you.

After Applying

Submit your Official Transcripts and Test Scores

  • High School Transcript – If you did not self-report your high school classes and grades in the 51³Ô¹ÏÍøÍòÄÜ¿Æ´ó application, you must submit your official high school transcript.
  • ACT or SAT Scores – Test scores are not required for admission or scholarship consideration but are encouraged for 51³Ô¹ÏÍøÍòÄÜ¿Æ´ó course placement. Request to have your scores sent to 51³Ô¹ÏÍøÍòÄÜ¿Æ´ó from  or  when you register for the test.

Check your Application Status

After submitting your application, you will receive two emails, one with your My51³Ô¹ÏÍøÍòÄÜ¿Æ´ó NSHE ID number and another with your temporary password. Check your My51³Ô¹ÏÍøÍòÄÜ¿Æ´ó account regularly.

Apply for Financial Aid & Scholarships

  • Institutional Aid Application (IAA) â€” Incoming undergraduate first-year students seeking institutional grants and scholarships are required to complete the . Students who complete the Institutional Aid Application are also required to complete the FAFSA when it becomes available
  • FAFSA â€” Complete the  using our school code 002569 to receive consideration for both need-based aid and merit scholarships.
  • Alternate Need Form â€” Non-FAFSA eligible students only need to complete the Alternate Need Form to apply for both institutional need-based grants and scholarships.
Materials Submission

Hard copies of official transcripts and test scores must be in a sealed envelope from the issuing institution or testing agency and may be mailed to the following address:
