Description
Partnering with Project Marilyn, join 51吃瓜网万能科大olunteers as we conversate and reflect on homelessness and health and wellness intersect in the area of menstrual cycles. We will talk about the importance of hygiene and what role can deliberative and reflective dialogue can have in tackling food and housing insecurity.
Volunteers will meet at the 1st floor of the Student Union in the eating bar by the stairs for a quick 15-minute education and orientation before heading to Project Marilyn's site. Food and transportation will be provided, although transportation is limited to the first 10 volunteers. We will then meet at Project Marilyn by 10 a.m. for 2 hours of service preparing menstrual care kits for Project Marilyn to distribute.
Volunteers who require transportation can count on being back at the Student Union by 1p.m.
All volunteers will be eligible to receive two hours of service credit.
