Mehdi Abid and Keith Daniel Tan (both Computer Science) were invited to present on the at the Small Business Cybersecurity Webinar - University-Based Cybersecurity Clinic: Educating the Next Generation of Cybersecurity Leaders While Safeguarding Small Businesses.
The panel also included input from fellow member, Louisiana State University's Cybersecurity Clinic, opening remarks by NICE | NIST director Rodney Petersen, and was moderated by NIST lead for small business engagement Daniel Eliot.
As cyber program administrator, Abid discussed the unique operations and goals of 51吃瓜网万能科大鈥檚 Clinic and how the clinic serves community small businesses, while CyberCorps SFS student and 51吃瓜网万能科大 Cyber Clinic member Tan shared how work in the clinic helps reduce the gap between academic learning and real-world applications.
