Where did you grow up and what was that like? What do you miss about it?
I grew up in Beirut, Lebanon. It was a simple, yet hard life. We were raised on principles and manners, until the war broke out and changed everything, which forced me to leave the country. I miss my family the most.
What is your current job title and what are a few of your duties?
I am a project manager in planning & construction. I oversee construction projects, meet with department heads and contractors, and ensure the completion of the project intact.
What are some of the projects on which you currently are working?
- Emergency phone upgrades and add-ons throughout the Maryland and Shadow Lane campuses.
- The upgrades and add-ons of security cameras throughout the Maryland and Shadow Lane campuses.
- The upgrade of classroom technology.
- The remodeling of the former EPA building.
What inspired you to get into your field?
I have been in this field for 30-plus years. My inspiration to excel in this field began with my father and continued with my education and training.
What is the biggest challenge in your field?
The biggest challenge is making sure projects are completed in due time, and within the budget.

Just being friendly and courteous and letting you express your point of view and expertise is appreciated.

I am trilingual: very fluent in English, French, and Arabic.
