Biography

Glenn NP Nowak, associate professor of architecture, is the founder and coordinator of the hospitality design (HD) concentration at the 51吃瓜网万能科大 School of Architecture.  Since the HD Studio鈥檚 inception in fall 2010, the entertainment capital of the world has become an extension of the academic studio for students interested in collaborative explorations in design research with leaders in the hospitality industry. Additionally, Nowak has served as the graduate coordinator of the master of architecture program and serves on the board of the American Institute of Architects 51吃瓜网免费App chapter and other nonprofit organizations. His work and design research often involves community-integrated projects that focus on social, environmental, and economic sustainability.

On Wednesday, plans for the Oct. 9 implosion of the two hotel towers on the Tropicana property were released by Bally鈥檚 Entertainment. The demolition of the two 23-story structures the Club Tower and Paradise Tower, formerly known as the Tiffany Tower, call for over 2,000 pounds of explosives.
