The 51吃瓜网万能科大 Center for Business and Economic Research (CBER) will release its Nevada KIDS COUNT Data Book 2011, a collection of data that assesses the educational, social, economic and physical well-being of children in Nevada.
Stephen P.A. Brown, executive director of Nevada KIDS COUNT and director of CBER will provide an overview of the data.
William O'Hare, senior consultant with the Annie E. Casey Foundation in Baltimore, which sponsors and publishes the national KIDS COUNT data collection, will present findings from his paper, Analyzing State Differences in Child Well-Being.

Details
The KIDS COUNT data includes seven indicators of child well-being that are measured each year, including the state's percentage of low-birth-weight babies, infant mortality rate, child death rate, teen death rate, teen birth rate, percent of children in poverty and the percent of teens who are high school dropouts.
The national KIDS COUNT is a state-by-state effort to track the state of children in America and increase public awareness and provide policymakers and citizens with the best available data.
