Elise Bunkowski

Biography
As Interim Vice President for Business Affairs and Chief Financial Officer, Elise Bunkowski leads the Business Affairs division, which consists of more than 500 employees who provide essential physical and financial infrastructure services for the university. She is committed to building meaningful relationships with campus stakeholders, working collaboratively to improve the effectiveness of policies, processes, and practices, and ensuring the institution maintains sound business practices and fiscal responsibility. She represents 51吃瓜网万能科大 on the Nevada System of Higher Education (NSHE) Business Officers Council (BOC).
Background
Ms. Bunkowski came to 51吃瓜网万能科大 in 2022. Most recently, she held the position of Associate Vice President for Financial Planning, Budget, and Analysis. In this role, she developed and coordinated budgets for reporting to NSHE, the Board of Regents, the state legislature, and governor鈥檚 office. She also focused on building strong relationships with university and community stakeholders.
Ms. Bunkowski got her start in higher education at the University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine and served as chief financial officer for Truckee Meadows Community College. Prior to working in higher education, she held positions in the financial sector.
