Transferology

is the most specific resource available to see how credits may transfer prior to applying. Transferology is based on coursework that has been evaluated by 51³Ô¹ÏÍøÍòÄÜ¿Æ´ó in the past, so it is not official or comprehensive, though it is constantly being updated.

To use Transferology, create a free account (you won't be spammed), enter your coursework in the "Will My Courses Transfer?" tab, search for matches, and filter by the state for Nevada, where you can select 51³Ô¹ÏÍøÍòÄÜ¿Æ´ó. You are also encouraged to familiarize yourself with the information below. There are additional resources available for students transferring from an NSHE two-year institution.

If you repeat a transferable course at the same institution, the first attempt will not be included in GPA calculation for admission. 51³Ô¹ÏÍøÍòÄÜ¿Æ´ó does not recognize academic renewal or forgiveness policies from other institutions. To convert quarter credits to the semester credits value, multiply credits by two and divide by three (two-thirds ratio). For admissions purposes, credits do not expire, and all earned credits will be evaluated.

Nontraditional credits, including but not limited to AP (Advanced Placement), CLEP, and Dantes, may be applied toward your degree, although nongraded credits will not count toward the transferable total for admission. A maximum of 60 nontraditional credits can be used toward a degree at 51³Ô¹ÏÍøÍòÄÜ¿Æ´ó.
